New to JPS Training, we have started a
"Competition Puppy" class. This is ONLY for those who have trained and shown before, and have new puppies.
This class was started because of the number of advanced trainers with new puppies.
In this class we are focusing on competitive obedience and agility from a very young age. Our puppies are learning directional signals, focused heeling, dumbbell work, agility contacts and equipment, as well as just plain learning how to learn and have fun.
The focus for the owners is learning how to teach puppies that obedience and agility are nothing more than interactive games that we play with our dogs.
Cindy Platt, one of our owners and advanced trainers started with her Bull Mastiff puppy Genie, and was kind enough to allow us to use her home video to show the connection she has attained with her puppy. Enjoy, and hopefully we can get other videos up for you shortly.
